Purpose and legal basis for processing personal data

We collect and process the personal data of newsletter and marketing mail subscribers for sending newsletters and marketing mail, marketing products and services, developing operations and customer acquisition.

We process personal data based on the data subject's consent.

Data content and regular data sources of the register

The following information is collected about newsletter and marketing mail subscribers:

  • Name

  • The entity it represents (if it represents the organisation)

  • E-mail address

  • Telephone number

  • Mailing address

  • Date of birth

  • Interests

The data is collected from the person himself or herself when subscribing to a news or other marketing letter.

Not all of the above information is necessarily collected from all data subjects.

Recipients and categories of recipients of personal data

Personal data will only be disclosed to service providers used by Nordic Sports Brands Oy for the performance of their duties. Personal data will never be disclosed outside the company without a properly drawn up data processing agreement. In addition, data may be disclosed to authorities as required by law or if an authority makes a request for information based on law. Data is transferred to the information systems of the service providers used by the company.

Data Retention

As a rule, personal data is stored until the person unsubscribes from the newsletter or marketing mail.

Transfer of data outside the EU or EEA or to an international organisation

Personal data is never transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area unless it is necessary to ensure the technical implementation attributable to the organisation or its partner. In these cases, the controller ensures that the data transfer complies with the data processing agreement between the parties and the European Commission's model clauses.
