Purpose and legal basis of personal data processing 

We collect and process the personal data of the representatives and contact persons of stakeholders, such as partners and subcontractors, to maintain our organization's partnerships, as well as for contract management, invoicing, operational development, and statistical purposes. 

We process the personal data of the representatives of our partner organizations to execute the contract between the data controller and the data subject and to comply with the legal obligations of the data controller. At Nordic Sports Brands Oy, we process the personal data of its subsidiaries' stakeholders based on a legitimate interest to the extent that it is necessary to process personal data between the companies to fulfill the above purposes. 

Content and regular sources of the data 

The following information is collected from the representatives and contact persons of the partner organizations: 

  • Name 

  • The organization they represent 

  • Title/position 

  • Email address 

  • Telephone number 

  • Other mutually agreed, business-related information 

The data is collected from the person themselves or from the organization they represent. 

Not all the data mentioned above may be collected from all data subjects. 

Recipients and recipient groups of personal data 

Personal data is transferred to Nordic Sports Brands Oy's subsidiaries, partner companies, and the service providers it uses, such as logistics partners, to perform these tasks. Personal data is never transferred outside the company without a valid data processing agreement. In addition, data can be transferred to the authorities as required by legislation or if the authority submits a data request. The data is transferred to the information systems of the service providers used by the company. 

Data retention 

Generally, personal data is stored for the duration of the agreement and six (6) years after the termination of the agreement in accordance with the Accounting Act, or as long as the person acts as the contact person of the partner organization, after which the personal data is deleted.

Data transfer outside the EU or EEA or to an international organization 

The personal data of Nordic Sports Brands Oy's partners may be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area if it is necessary to ensure the technical implementation of the organization or the partner. In these cases, the controller ensures that the data transfer complies with the data processing agreement between the parties and the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission and prepares appropriate data protection and personal data transfer impact assessments.
